0830hrs:
(Lunch) Pick up from hotel lobby for a 2
hours drive upwards along the ridge of Crocker Range passing
through tropical lowland rainforest, hills, valleys, villages,
rubber trees, some local fruit trees and etc. This tour
brings you to the Rafflesia Center. You will be spending
some time at the exhibit hall before trekking to the areas
where Rafflesia buds are found. The center is situated amongst
Primary Mountain Rain forest and trails to the Rafflesia
plots can be steep. If luck is with you, you will be rewarded
with the sight of this Spectacular Flower in bloom. Lunch
at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel. |
