Tour Description
 
0830hrs aprx:
(BBQ Lunch) Pick up from hotel lobby in Kota Kinabalu city for about 2hrs scenic drive into the foothills of the Crocker range brings you to the starting point of rafting. The journey will pass through the countryside offering views of paddy fields and villages.
1030hrs:
Arrived Kiulu starting point, a briefing will be presented by the river guide(s) for about 10-15 minutes on safety procedures, the river, various rapids and rafting preparation. After briefing, gearing up putting on helmets, life jackets and collects your paddle. Board rubber raft and begin rafting down for about 2hrs. Enjoy the exhilarating ride down through various rapid points to the ending point.

1230hrs:
Approximately arrived ending point, change to dry clothing and enjoy a sumptuous BBQ lunch by the Kiulu river.

1330hrs:
Retrace your steps back to Kota Kinabalu.

1500hrs:
Arrived at hotel in Kota Kinabalu city.
 
Includes
English speaking guide/rafter, return land transport KK/Beaufort/KK, return train ride Beaufort/Padas/Beaufort, insurance, rafting equipment, BBQ lunch, certificate of achievement, transport and tour activities as per itinerary.
 
Excludes
Any items not mentioned, alcoholic drinks.
 
Recommended items to bring
Personal toiletries, towel, colored T-shirts, swimming suit or trunk, shorts/Bermuda shorts most preferably with waist strap, additional set of clothing and footwear preferably slipper/flip flop sandal, strap for spectacles/shade, goggles, insect repellent.
 
Optional items
Sun block lotion, waterproof camera, hat/cap.
 
Not to bring
Precious ornaments or important documents, contact lenses without goggles, dress/skirt or any white color shirts as it will get stained by the river waters, sport shoe/leather shoe/high heels shoe.
 
Remarks
Participants must be 12 to 60 yrs old, child below 12 yrs are allowed but must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Liability Release Form must be signed and understood by participant before rafting commences. We reserve the right to change venue should conditions beyond our control render it necessary.
