7:30 am. The shuttle bus/van will depart at 8.00am from Hotel
Istana, Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Tembeling via Jerantut town
(the nearest town or the Gateway to the National Park) for
the 4 hour journey overland to Kuala Tembeling with a rest
stop halfway. The upriver journey into Taman Negara is 3-hours
and the down-river trip is 2 1/2 hours.

transport by van can be arranged at approximately RM 300 per
van per way or if you prefer to take the public transport,
buses or taxis ply this route to Kuala Tembeling. It takes
about 3 hours. For bus service, please proceed to Puduraya
Bus Terminal (Kuala Lumpur) or the Kuantan Main Bus Terminal
to purchase your tickets to Kuala Tembeling.

Travellers Departing From Jerantut Town
From Jerantut, visitors can either take a bus or taxi to the
Kuala Tembeling Jetty, which is 16 km from Jerantut.
For
Travellers Departing From Singapore
Visitors
from Singapore can board the night train, which stops at the
Kuala Tembeling Train Station. From the Kuala Tembeling Jetty
visitors have to take a boat along Tembeling River for 2.5
hours to 3 hours to reach Kuala Tahan (the
Resorts).This
boat ride costs between RM38 per person return trip.

Boat from Kuala Tembeling Jetty to Kuala Tahan in Taman Negara
From here it is a scenic 3 hour (approximately)
boat ride up the Tembeling River to the Park's headquarters
at Kuala Tahan.
