Paya Beach Resort, Tioman Island

 

Of Malaysia's east coast islands, Tioman Island, this pear-shaped drop of paradise was immortalised as the mythical Bali H'ai, in the movie "South Pacific". 

Paya Beach Resort is located on the central western shore. Built in traditional village style, our casual environment provides a peaceful getaway to enjoy nature's gifts.
The island is a veritable paradise with spectacular flora and fauna and packs a variety of streams and cascading waterfalls.

You can windsurf, canoe, snorkel, scuba or just hang out at the GONE FISHING sign. A full range of equipment is available at our sea sports centre, the Paya Diver's Cove.

ROOM INFORMATION
 We have 3 types of chalets: Standard, Superior and Deluxe.
All rooms are sea facing with private balcony and are air-conditioned with television and bathroom attached. Each room can accommodate up to 4 persons (3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children).
It also includes tea/coffee making facilities and a cable television.

Standard chalet has a queen size bed and 2 single pull out beds.
 Superior chalet comes with a queen-size bed and a double pull-out sofa bed.
 Deluxe chalet comes with a queen size bed in the bedroom (separated) and a double pull-out sofa bed in the living room.

RESORT FACILITIES

Swimming pool, spa, karaoke, gift shop, sea sports centre, beach bar, dive centre.

Paya Diver's Cove, with its large range of equipment provides both shore and boat dives to some of Tioman's best dive sites. Dive courses are also available for the first timers to the pros.

• By Ferry (Mersing - Tioman Paya Resort) , Fare (to and fro) is RM 60.00 per person 
• By Speed Boat (Tekek Airport-Tioman Paya Resort)  , Fare is RM 80.00 per person  (2 persons and above) and 1 person an additional RM 100.00  for speed boat transfer charges
• Surcharge of RM 40.00 per night during Public Holiday .

 

Other Services:

- Ferry transfers to & from Mersing jetty at RM60.00 per person.

Speed boat transfers to & from Tekek Airport to Tioman Paya Resort  at RM60.00 per person.

- BBQ arrangement at RM25.00 per person (min 6 persons and above). If dinner to be converted to BBQ, an additional RM13.00 per person will be charged. (min 6 persons and above)

  ITINERARY 

Day 1

On arrival at Mersing Jetty, board ferry to Tioman Paya Resort. (approximately 1hrs 45mins journey)

Check-in, free at leisure. Dinner will be served at 7.30pm.

If you are interested at fishing or diving are optional can be arranged. 

 

Day 2

Breakfast at 8.00 am.

Depart for sea outing at 0900hrs to Tulai Island (Coral island) for swimming and snorkeling. Diving and fishing are optional, but can be arrange at your own cost. A packed lunch will be served.  After lunch proceed to Marine Park (excluding entrance fee) where you can feed the fish, as well as visit the mini aquarium . Bathing facilities are available at the Marine Park, so be prepared to bring along your dry clothing.

Dinner at 7.30pm

 

Day 3

Breakfast will be served at 0700hrs to 0730hrs

Departure from Tioman to Mersing is between 0800hrs and 0830hrs.

 
As darkness comes to another perfect day just sit and watch the sun sink into the South China Sea while the cool breeze washes your cares away.
                   		 Open daily from 8am to 7pm. Our unique pool is filled with continuous flow of cool water from the fresh mountain streams.
