Crocker Range National Park
Crocker Range National Park are one of the 6 Park manage by Sabah Park. Crocker Range by far are the largest national park in Sabah covering 139,919 hectares (almost 1,400 square km ). It is extremely rugged and forms the backbone of Sabah, running south-west from Mt. Kinabalu very steep mountains averaging about 1000 to 1500 m in height. This area also been set-aside as a main water catchments for Kota Kinabalu and surrounding area ( west coast ). The lower montane forest and a lowland diptrocarp forest can be found here. This will be the first tourist trail in Crocker Range and is intended to be for the more adventurous, the trail 55km stretches from Inobong research center to the Southeast of Tikolod. The rural communities living within the national park are eager to welcome eco tourism by improving trail access to their isolated communities. Sabah Park also wishes to conduct bio-diversity studies in the park many unexplored areas.

Mountainous steep hills and many river crossing. Daily trekking around 4 – 7 hours. Ranging between 300m – 1300m height.

Tour Description
Day 1>>
Pick up from hotel, Depart for Inobong sub-stations for Crocker Range National Park. Start trekking to Terian a village outside the National Park. Start at 550m maximum height 815m and spent the night at Terian 325m. Trekking around 7 hours.

Day 2>>
 
Depart from Terian early in the morning, for next campsite. Start at 325m the max height 550m. We will be passing through a village (Buayan) and we have to cross a river few times. Trekking time depends on the campsite that we going to use the most are around 5 hours.

Day 3>>

After breakfast continue trekking from the camp site at around 435m, today trekking still around the same altitude river crossing and passing a village, Kg. Kionob located inside the National Park boundary. The village only comprises of 8 families, the houses are far apart around 20 minutes between each others. Camp by the river. Trekking time around 4-5 hours.
 
Day 4>>
Start early for the last leg of the trek which we will scale the ridges for Kg Tikolod. Highest point at 1255m. and down to 950m the last leg of the trekking. Trekking time around 7 hours. To be pick up by the road side and driven back to Kota Kinabalu. End of tour.
