Day 02
0700 AM depart Island by boat to Sandakan. After breakfast, proceed overland in an air-conditioned vehicle to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center. Experience a close encounter with the "Wildman of Borneo" and also tamed Orang Utan are being rehabilitated to become wild. Witness the Orang Utan feeding by the rangers, walk along the plankwalks in the realms of the tropical lowland jungle. After lunch, depart overland to Gomantong Birdnest Caves, journey will take approximately 2 hours passing by Oil Palm plantations and villages. Upon arrival, 15 minutes walk on the plank walk to reach the cave. Explore the cave of millions Bats and Swiflets. The nest of the swiflets are collected for the famous Chinese edible birdnest soup. Then, continue half an hour journey to arrive our lodge in Sukau. Late afternoon, cruise up the Kinabatangan River to search for wildlife or notably Proboscis Monkeys. Return lodge for dinner and overnight at Old Ben Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge. (B/L/D) Day 03
Wake up by the calls of gibbons and hornbills. Early AM, proceed to the Ox Bow Lake to observe wildlife and experience the early morning river ambience of the longest river of Sabah. And also a short jungle walk along the lake while searching for more wildlife. Return lodge for breakfast then free at own leisure. After lunch, late afternoon, another river cruise to search for more wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Old Ben Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge. (B/L/D) Day 04
Depart by boat ride to Sandakan, passing by Sukau Villages and Mangroves. There will be searching more wildlife by the 2 to 3 hours river cruise to Sandakan. Arrival jetty, transfer out to Hotel or Airport. (B/L)
