Meet
at hotel lobby or on arrival at the Sandakan Airport. Depart
for Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center. At this center,
observe man's closest relative "the Orang Utan" being
rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat and experience
a walk in the Tropical Lowland Dipterocarp Forest of Borneo.
Witness the feeding of the Orang Utan at the feeding platform,
then visit the Visitors Information Center to view the displays
and exhibits. Depart Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center
for lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch,
proceed with the Sandakan City Tour with visits to the Rotary
Observation Pavilion for a bird's eye view of Sandakan Town.
Visit the Malay Fishing Village of Kampung Buli Sim Sim, where
the houses are built on stilts and lastly visit the Puu Jih
Syh Chinese Buddhist Temple, which also offers a panoramic
view of the Sandakan Bay. Transfer to the Airport or Hotel.
