Start
at 9.00am, you will be pick up from your hotel and take a drive
of 30 minutes to Mengkabong Water Village. A settlement of the
Bajaus, the descendant of pirates who set foot on this land in
early 19th Century. In present, this tribe are fishermen who resides
on a village built on water. The spectacular sight are the houses,
which stands on stilts and connected by narrow wooden planks.
The tour includes the open market at Tuaran, suspension bridge,
Chinese Temple and a pottery factory. You will be return back
to your hotel by 1300 hrs. |
