Pangkor
Laut Resort, Malaysia's most internationally-acclaimed resort
is a privately owned resort, the only one on this island located
three miles off the West Coast of Malaysia in the Straits
of Malacca. Although the island encompasses a total of 300
acres, only a fraction has been developed to house the Resort
and its Estates while the rest is covered by lush and unspoiled
two million year old rainforest.
There
are 148 Malaysian-style luxury villas in the main Pangkor
Laut Resort and eight magnificent Estates in a nearby secluded
cove. Every villa, suite and Estate is elegantly designed
and furnished, yet complements and blends in with the surrounding
natural environment. As the island is only accessible to the
guests of the Resort and Estates, it makes the perfect private
holiday getaway.

Garden
Villas (40)
These are scattered throughout the foot of the hillside and set
amongst the beautiful tropical gardens. The structure is the same
as the Hill Villas but with easier and shorter access to the many
facilities of the Resort. |
Hill
Villas (54)
These villas are perched dramatically on the hillside amidst the
rain forest and affording spectacular views of beautiful tropical
gardens, the sea and the larger island of Pangkor. They are constructed
in double storey units with two rooms on the lower and two rooms
on the upper floor. They have private bathrooms and separate shower. |
Beach
Villas (8)
These are clustered around the tropical gardens within a few steps
of the white sandy beach. They are structured on one level; two
units per building, all have private outdoor courtyard bath and
shower. |

Sea
Villas (22)
Uniquely set on stilts over the sea and linked by wooden walkways.
Each have their own en suite bathroom with large bath surrounded
by windows, which open out to the sea and island. |
Spa
Villas (21)
Similar to the Sea Villas, these are bungalows built on stilts over
the sea, within easy reach of Pangkor Laut's newest addition, the
Spa Village. Here the traditional massage and bath therapies of
Asia are practiced in private pavilions, healing huts, and treatment
rooms. Ancient healing arts are fundamental to all treatments in
the Village, and are intended to soothe and refresh, generating
an overall sense of well being. |
The
Purnama or Suria Suites
Situated over the sea, these villas consist of an entrance hall,
separate bedroom and lounge. There is a spacious bathroom with a
large bath & separate shower cubicle. All with beautiful views
of sea and the island. Both villas have TVs. Maximum 2 guests. |

Pavarotti
Suite
The Pavarotti Suite is nestled among the beautiful Hill Villas,
and is named after its famous guest, the world-renowned tenor,
Luciano Pavarotti. This elegant one bedroom suite, with an area
of 100m2, is the perfect hilltop retreat in which to relax and
soak up the unique ambience of Pangkor Laut. In the spacious and
luxurious lounge area, there is a tasteful pictorial tribute to
Pavarotti, with a number of pictures from his own private collection.
The Suite's other features include a large sweeping balcony offering
stunning views of the rainforest and the ocean, a deluxe open
roofed bathroom, and fully functional kitchenette. |
