Hirer will be liable for the above liability for any loss and damage to the rented vehicle. However, accepting CDW may reduce the liability to Minimum shown in the Non-Waiveable Excess column. The hirer is obliged to promptly report any accident, theft or vandalism involving the vehicle to 12 Explore Sdn Bhd office and the nearest police station within 24 hours. A valid police report is required. Failure to comply with the above may void all liability protection. CDW does not cover the following:-
1.
Damage to any parts of the vehicle including dents
and scratches not caused as a result of accident
but the negligence of the hirer / additional driver.
2. Loss or damage to accessories aside from normal
wear and tear.
Delivery
And Collection
Delivery
and collection charges vary with distance. Free
delivery and collection within Kuala Lumpur. Please
check with our staff upon booking. Discounts for
corporate booking is available.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Rates
Daily rental rates cover a full 24 hours with unlimited mileage. Rates include maintenance and engine oil but petrol is excluded. Excess hours is calculated at 1/6 of the daily rental rates. Rental rates are subject to 10% service charge and 5% Government tax.
Fuel
Every 12EXPLORE vehicle is rented out with a full tank of fuel and must be returned the same. Otherwise the renter will be charged for a refill upon return.
Insurance
Rates include coverage of 3rd party property damage up to RM100,000.00 and 3rd party passenger liability. Cover for loss of the car by fire or theft are included with the cover for damage of the car in excess of, as indicated in the schedule below.
Excludes Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
Payment
Charges through MasterCard and Visa Card are welcomes.
Parking Fees and Traffic Fines
The Renter is liable for all parking and traffic summonses incurred for the duration of the rental. An additional RM 50.00 administration fee will be charged to the renter over and above any fines and penalty cost for any violation arising from the renter’s use of vehicle. 12EXPLORE retains the right to charge against the renter’s charge/credit card if and when payment is due for traffic fines committed by the renter, upon receiving notification from the government authorities.
Driver's
Requirements
The driver must be between 23 and 65 years of age and in possession of a current local or valid overseas international license with qualified driving experience of at least two (2) years.
Extension
of Rental
Should the renter wish to extend the rental, it is most important that the renting station be advised immediately and the required additional amount be paid so that the insurance coverage is extended. Failure to do so may mean the hirer is driving the vehicle without insurance.
Vehicle Condition
Upon return, the vehicle has to be in the same condition as when it was rented. Failing which, the renter will be liable for the cost of restoring the vehicle to its original condition.
Surcharge
A sum of RM 50.00 will be levied for check out and collection of vehicles, after business hours, inclusive of Sundays and Public Holidays.
Restricted Entry
All 12 EXPLORE vehicles are strictly prohibited from being driven into Singapore and Thailand.
Prohibited Odours
All items and goods discharging unpleasant odours are strictly forbidden from being carried in the vehicle (eg. Durians, salted fish, etc.). The renter will be liable to reimburse 12 EXPLORE on demand for all costs of eliminating such odours, including the servicing of the whole air conditioner system and the loss of rental days.
Note
: Please be advised that smoking in 12 EXPLORE’S
vehicles are strictly prohibited.
